Okay, now that everyone (we think) has made it back we thought we'd better put this post together to thank all the people involved over the weekend that was 'Manchester, By The Sea' + share a few blurry photos from the parties & whilst were about & about too...
Michael A Grammar's first gig...
PLANK!
So first off, thank you to all the amazing acts that played live, killing it on The Pav Tav's rather cosy stage: Friday night saw Michael A Grammar [ Melodic ] kicking things off (playing their first ever proper gig, no less) followed by the awesome G R E A T W A V E S [ SWAYS ] then PLANK! [ aA ], whose kraut-psych sounded pretty much perfect, with then a headline set from the ever-amazing Longcut [ Melodic ] who literally blew the place up (well the electrics of The Pav Tav at least). Later on we had a special guest slot from Seams, who celebrated recently signing to Full Time Hobby with a late night, thrown down electronic set that killed it too.
SEAMS
Thank you also to the ace DJs that guested on Friday, Richard Norris from [ Time & Space Machine / Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve ], John Kennedy [ XFM ], Yousif [ KULT COUNTRY ] plus aA deejays LEGO & Will.

Dancefloor @ 4.30am on the Friday...
Some of us then ended up in this club til 7am, followed by the beach....
Saturday night brought about a bit of a change in schedule - unfortunately Driver Drive Faster [ aA ] couldn't make it due to a broken van but MONEY [ SWAYS ] stepped up and stepped in to provide an amazing set at 11pm, which had Ghost Outfit [ SWAYS ] not followed them, would have been one of the sets of the weekend - Ghost Outfit were superb, catch them now, soon as.
Beat The Radar [ aA ] opened up and EYES, as ever, sounded immense (DARK journey back to Manchester mind...) then it was left to The Louche [ SWAYS ] to close the live part of the party. As ever, they were brilliant.
The Louche
DJs on the Saturday were Fujiya & Miyagi [ Full Time Hobby ] & Yousif, Lego & Will. Things ended late, way late again - gotta say though, a beer in the beach at 7.30am is a damn good way to end a damn good weekend....
