The Smiles and Frowns album on VERY LIMITED vinyl

We have an extremely limited amount of The Smiles and Frowns album on vinyl - only 25 in fact. Each LP has been individually designed, screen printed and numbered by the band (see above) and look, well, pretty damn cool. You can purchase the LP on it's own from the aA Shop for £15 or with a CD album too for £18. We'll try and get some into Piccadilly Records for next week but that'll be all - when they go, they go...

UPDATE! All the vinyl LP's have now sold out - we will try to get some more in the future but for now, all gone. We still have CDs which will also be available nationally from Monday August 16th in record shops across the UK...

If you're all a bit modern and la di da with MP3's and that whole digital thing then you can download the album from 7Digital and iTunes and it should be on Spotify very soon.

"Swirling organ sounds, dreamy vocals, descending chords and lyrics about time melting away all feature on this delightful musical equivalent of a wander through a multicoloured model village on a sunny day." Mojo 4 stars

"It recalls CocoRosie's debut in it's insularity and Syd's Floyd in still being pop. "When The Time Should Come"'s shadowy corners would be familiar to Arthur Lee, while "Cornelius" has the desperate nostalgia of The Kinks. But the haunting moods of these perfectly formed miniatures stay thier own." Uncut 4 stars

Adam from Smiles and Frowns has kindly supplied us with a Gif to flash at you whilst you dig out your credit card and get purchasing...

PS - Silver Apples from 6pm this Saturday x
