Drivers @drivers.fc soundtrack Bullitt transferred to Manchester 2024.
Their set at Akoustik Anarkhy in November saw the progressive noise rock band return after a hiatus and confirmed their Lalo Schifrin influenced post punk is inspired. Don't miss this one.

Fruit @fruitband_ are a five-piece post-rock band experimenting with dissonance, noise, poetry and song structures. Their debut single 'Bleak' was released in February 2023 and described in one review as 'Mogwai at their most intricate, fronted by a morose and angry John Cooper Clarke'. Their storming performance at aA at The Britons in December booked their return.

@threadsbandmcr Rejecting the woes of today, Threads take comfort in hauntology and the occult. Experimenting with misuse of four track tape machines, sonic qualities of hallways and DIY guitar pedals Threads cynical but droll observations of the world around them over sparse and noisy post punk feels timely.  Kane Martin’s meandering prose about the absurdity of now finds poetry in overstimulation, and Hanley’s percussion punctuates the turbulence.  George’s guitar obscured with feedback and reverb completes the trio. Sonically threads try to emulate their namesake, the 1984 film documenting Sheffield’s nuclear demise.

@peace_talks_music Voicing an experimental blend of alternative & electronic dark-pop, PEACE_TALKS is the moniker for Manchester based artist and producer Tommy Deedigan. Taking shape in early 2021 in the form of some early demos and collaborations, the PEACE_TALKS live outfit has transformed these writings into an uncompromising multimedia performance.

Imaginary Part @davecgh focuses on the intrinsic relationship between art and technology, drawing abstract beauty from a traditionally analytical subject. Hailing from Modena (Italy), now Manchester-based, Davide Cuoghi takes inspiration from a mathematical notion for his solo project: in mathematics, complex numbers are composed of a real part and an imaginary part.
