We're very much looking forward to this party...

If you're new to PLANK!, here's some background, taken from the BBC...

"The Krautrock leaning instrumentalists hail from Manchester, and have been busy since their last visit to Marc back in March 2011.

After the release of the self-titled EP and double-A side, Self Harm/Pig Sick (remix), on Akoustik Anarkhy there followed a flurry of live shows supporting The Phantom Band, Sleepy Sun, Fuijya & Miyagi and also slots at Green Man and Manchester International Festival.

Not resting for a second Dave Rowe (guitar), Ed Troup (bass) and Johnny Winbolt-Lewis (drums) started to record their debut album, Animalism, which was released last week. The drums were recorded in Salford's Sacred Trinity Chapel giving the whole album a unique feel, which backs up producer and guitarist Dave's push towards the prog, Kraut, and space rock sound that is imprinted all over it.

What more is there to say? Other than miss it at your peril!"
