aA BUSY WEEKEND - aA acts & associates OUT & ABOUT, DEC 2nd, 3rd & 4th...

Okay, quite a busy weekend coming up for a few of our favourite aA acts, associates, heroes &, of course, villains. It's not quite the XmaAs do (Friday 16th December at Kraak Gallery - details next week) but there's lots happening on the Friday, Saturday & probs deep into Sunday so no excuse for not getting involved.

We also recommend listening to Driver Drive Faster's session with Marc Riley whilst browsing these listings - click here to LISTEN BACK

First up is the PLANK! show at Fuel Cafe in Withington, hosted by the lovely people at Mcr Scenewipe and also featuring the very ace TROJAN HORSE & CYRIL SNEAR (hold tight all Withy racoons...) on Friday 2nd. It starts at 9pm and full details can be found on the FB event page right here. Expect PLANK! playing tracks from their upcoming LP too...

Ace poster too.

If you're not over Withington way on Friday, our good friends at Eighty Six are hosting their monthly food, ale & excellent music do at Jam Street Cafe in Whalley Range - click here for more details.  They have top lad John Mitchell as their guest, so expect some whistling...

Then, on Saturday...

It's a 1pm start at FC United for their 'Course You Can Malcolm' pre-match entertainment, featuring BEAT THE RADAR, ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS [ BOTH LIVE ] & LEGO [ DJ ] in the Manchester Road Suite ahead of their match against Chorley FC. It's basically an aA vs. PYT / FC vs. Chorley afternoon adventure...

Click here for more info & you need more info / guestlist / a pie reservation then either contact the bands or email us on hello@akoustikanarkhy.co.uk

Then, if you're still holding on...
LEGO is DJing with T Thompson & J Ireland, upstairs at Trof in Fallowfield, playing this kind of stuff til the early hours. Free entry & all invited....

Beat The Radar are also playing Saturday night, somewhere out of town, "Up North" they say - will update when we know...

& now, how about Golden Glow's new video?
