PLANK! were on Marc Riley's BBC 6music radio show last night and you can listen back on the links below. In the words of the BBC:
Plank! return to the Riley studio to bring you more of their distinctive experimental electro rock. The Mancunian kraut rockers' double a side Pig Sick/Self Harm of early 2011 was so good it took two labels to release it (those bench marks of quality Akoustik Anarkhy and Static Caravan). It went down particularly well in Manchester's studio 6 (even though we usually got its title wrong) and the knowledge that they are currently in the studio recording an album with the working title 'Gourmet Chillier' gets us very excited. We just can't wait!
You can listen back for the next 6 days by going here & if you like what you hear you can go and but their latest single. What's that? Well it's a joint 7" release between aA & Static Caravan and it's available in decent record shops right now. You can order it direct from aA and if you do that, you'll get a free Pig Sick [ original mix ] with it.
You can also check out a PLANK! promo mixtape here, with them & a load of other like minded soul...
We've got lots more aA news to announce very soon - new bands, new albums, new parties, festivals, mixes, the whole kaboodle...follow us here for day by day updates.
