08.08.08Next aA is THIS Friday the 8th of August with its a buffalo back for their first aA headline set for yonks. They've been busy boys of recent completing the finishing touches to their debut album due out early '09 on aA Recordings. Hold out for news on their next single, but for now this will be the last chances to see them in Manchester til Autumn time. Completing the bill are ace new eclectic Manc outfit Something Like Fire and two Canadian singer/songwriting siblings that go by the name of The Minnikins, who promise a set of beautiful songs with one another accompanied by swells of pedal steel. Gabe Minnikin is also the new singer of one of aAs all time favourites The Earlies. aA Djs, doors at 8pm and on til late and only a fiver in. At our new home the lovely Deaf Insitute on Grovesnor St, Manchester.
